Worlds Fattest Countries
If you were to guess, which country do you think is the fattest in the world?
If you guessed the United States, you would be wrong. Forbes has a list of the top 10 fattest countries and the United States lands #9.

Nearly 237 million Americans are currently overweight. It is estimated that medical costs connected to obesity accounted for 9.1% of all health expenditures each year in the U.S.
What country did Forbes rank the fattest country in the World?
#1: Nauru: 94.5 % overweight

This South Pacific island has a population of just over 13,000 and is only about one-tenth the size of Washington, D.C. A reliance on imported food and oils from New Zealand and Australia is usually cited as the main cause for the high level of overweight Nauruans. With phosphate deposits covering 90% of the island, there is little room for growing any fresh, native produce.
